Changelog v.0.1.3 Pre-Alpha




Welcome!

Due to our intensive preparations for lifting NDA off we have a massive update for you – we have implemented a new weather system and the first part of planned changes in crafting system, we have also performed many important improvements and an optimization process. Moreover, within few days we’re going to launch US server! All of your characters will work on both servers. Unfortunately before lifting the NDA off we will be forced to wipe items – however all of characters with their levels and professions levels will be untouched.

Here is the full changelog:

Gameplay

– Implemented server selection window due to preparations for US server implementation
– Implemented different quality versions of one-handed swords, longswords and one-handed axes (7 per every item)
– Implemented recipes for part of longswords (4 per nation)
– Updated and balanced one-handed axes recipes (4 per nation)
– Balanced longswords and one-handed axes statistics
– Balanced weapons prices
– Redesigned weapon shops assortments
– Redesigned weapons distribution in mobs drop and chests taking into account the quality versions
– Redesigned drop of recipes for metallurgy and smithing materials
– Added displaying of stamina usage modifier in characters statistics
– Added information of inability to gather item from container if it’s empty
– Added new pieces of music
– Santa has managed to collect enough money for new reindeers and came back home – one behalf of him we thank you for your help!

Fixes

– Improved mechanism of controller auto-syncing when desynchronization occurs
– Fixed profession leveling above 60 level and after gaining 300 levels in total, also fixed the issue with closing crafter window after gaining new level
– Implemented camera moving without rotating the character when player is gathering resources
– Synchronized sounds of gathering resources with animations
– Fixed bosses spawning and extended the time to their disappearance if they won’t be killed by players

Graphics

– Implemented new weather system
– Increased players view range – depending of displaying object 50 to 300%!
– Implemented smooth terrain disappearing in far distances
– Redesigned day and night cycle system
– Improved clouds and fog visuals
– Improved visuals and colors of lights and sky
– Implemented field of view regulation in options

Performance

– Optimized weather system work
– Optimized morning and evening shadows displaying

    Did you guys get the crafting levels down to the real experience gathered or do we the lucky ones that leveled by making 1 item per level from 45 onwards will still keep the uber levels?
    I don't mind keeping my 100 levels but it won't be fair to the players starting now as you don't plan full wipe when the game gets out of NDA.

    Yes, you will keep it :) We want to make players suffer as low as its possible for our bugs/mistakes.

    I am working on improving crafting right now to make leveling professions much smoother, so newcomers will be available to catch the old veterans if they would to do so. Anyway it's good to have a base of higher level crafters - they will be economy's "engine" :)

    I am really liking that characters can jump between servers. In a PvP game such as this it's going to add some extra flavor.

    Creating more tension in (pvp) between Euro and American players I think is excellent! While also having the ability to jump to the other server for farms if things start heating up to much on one.

    I am already looking foreword to getting rolled by a pack of random Euro's, getting a group together,jumping servers and seeking retaliation. Sounds ridiculously fun!!!

    EDIT: Someone told me this post sounded sarcastic. It is most certainly not sarcastic I think anything that can encourage more pvp is excellent.

    hoped for changed blocking system and to add a kick, but nice patch XD, is it already live?

    cant wait to swing the sword a bit ,but that desynch thing ruined it for me the last time i played.
    eu and us server means , combat system can get more deep better ping for all hope it will be streamed a lot and get a higher population so both server get full.

    riped , coudnt switch weapon or go out of combat mode after i spawned.

    reloged but mouse curser is missing in log in screen plz fix that kinda annoying.
    grafics looks nice ,performence is better, did not got desinch so far.

    i personally not like the slow down stun after a hit , sure you should need to resprint after a hit but this mechanic as it is now is super op. you cant escape or fight 2 people if you are skilled. it is nearly impossible to hit someone with the edge of the blade and turn arround and sprint to not get hit.
    stamina refresh was to slow , and sprinting should not take stamina , charging the weapon should take low stamina but missing with the weapon should cost a lot. this would made the combat feel better in my opinion

    but im very impressed how chat works for eu and na !!! so you can chat/trade with na people when you are playing on the eu server . If there not enough people online to strange eu times, you can jump on the na server well done !!!

    hope this lead to a deeper combat system because people have better pings XD
